Hello, I am
Stephany Marlene a Watercolor Artist from Mexico.
The transition from Architect to Visual Artist.
Everything began when...

Some friends invite me to participate in an exhibition in Tijuana in honor of Day of the Dead, I create my first watercolor artwork called "Twins in Transition"

...it was very difficult for me to go outside the orthogonal lines from Architecture to the organics forms as the skeletons...

However, without knowing my first watercolor toke me months later to exhibit in San Francisco, California, United States. From that moment on, "The Catrinas became my lucky charm".
In 2017 I created the brand called MISS CATRINA, combining my two interests, Astrology and skeletons, I developed a collection of the 13 zodiac signs and gave workshops; this project was exhibited at various cultural events in Tijuana, Ensenada, San Diego, Ca., E.U. and online sales internationally.

In 2018 I made a trip to Japan where I soaked up the culture, way of life, and beliefs... It was where in Nagano after having a supernatural experience I returned to Mexico meditating on the previously lived experience and decided to leave art for a couple of months... Until that in a moment of lucidity after doing meditative practices and Ashtanga yoga, I create something new which I called "SERES" creating something unique and different in my artistic path.

In 2019 I exhibits my Catrina in Tokyo, Japan representing Mexico in the event "Day of the Dead in Japan 2019". A year later in 2020, I participate once again, however in this case and due to the global pandemic, I present myself virtually. In 2021 I was invited for the third time to exhibit and shared my art with the Japanese culture.
